20 Creative and Easy Halloween Costumes for Lazy Moms

I like to think of myself as the creative type.

I can craft.

I can paint.

I can draw a kick-A frog like no other.

But when it comes to sewing and costumes, I’m more lost than the people on that TV show. What’s it called again? Oh yeah, Lost

I also don’t have the time (nor the patience or skill) to pull off elaborate costumes for my littles. Sure I’d love to be able to create a flawless princess gown for my kid, complete with ornate neckline and gold thread, trimmed in silk and lace, and adorned with 1,000 diamonds… But that ain’t happenin’.

I can, however, make a mean paper bag princess getup.

Creative, simple, and (above all) EASY is what we’re after here. Am I right?? So here are some absolutely effortless costume ideas for your kids this Halloween that are all of the above, AND they won’t break the bank. Ka-ching!

1. Dora the Explorer
