3 Simple Steps to Become an Overworked Stay-at-Home Mom

There are so many things you as a mom need to do throughout the day. It’s stressful, annoying, and time-consuming. Let’s make it even more difficult!

That’s right! 😁

You want to keep that stress level up and become the pissed off mom I know you’ve always wanted to be? If you’re not quite at your breaking point yet, follow the 3 simple steps below to become that overworked stay-at-home mom ASAP:

1. ALWAYS cook gourmet meals.

Every. Single. Night.

Forget the easy recipes. We’re talkin’ 3-course meals, five-star rating, Food Network quality cookery here. Think Coquilles Saint-Jacques or Boudin Noir Aux Pommes as the main course. Your kids probably won’t eat it, but hey; the hours of hard work will be worth it just to bask in the beautifulness of the dish.

2. Don’t leave the house.

Or go outside for that matter, ever.

Unless absolutely necessary.

Like, for example, if the stove is on fire or something. Otherwise, stay indoors like it’s 50 below zero outside, popsicles are raining down, and angry snowmen are attacking the city with boulder-like snowballs… it could happen.

3. Never allow your children to be babysat by anyone else.

Now, we’re aiming for ‘overworked’ here, so definitely don’t let anyone watch your kids for you.

Never ever.

Just stay with those kiddos 24/7 and you’ll be stressed to the max quicker than a rocket full of cheetahs.

And those are the 3 simple steps to become an overworked stay-at-home mom…

Please, for Pete’s sake (and I don’t know who Pete is, but apparently he matters): find shortcuts for daily tasks, ask for help when needed, and above all, take breaks every once in awhile! You, your kids, and Pete will be so much happier.

Don’t stress dinner (make it super easy by following these tips), entertain your kids with ease, and always make yourself a priority!

Stay-at-home parenting is hard. Let’s try not to make it even harder. Spread the word on social media to all of the stay-at-home mamas out there!

Until next time…
